What is Financial Wellbeing?

Financial wellbeing is feeling secure and in control of your finances, both now and in the future. It’s knowing that you can pay the bills today, can deal with the unexpected, and are on track for a healthy financial future.

In short: financially resilient, confident and empowered.

Why is Financial Wellbeing important?

“One in three full-time employees say that money worries have negatively impacted their productivity at work.”

Among financially stressed employees who are distracted at work because of their finances, 56% spend three hours or more per week at work dealing with or thinking about issues related to their personal finances. With inflation hitting hard in 2023, employee financial stress is on the rise as we navigate higher prices, uneven wage growth and record credit card debt, with 57% saying that finances are the top cause of stress in their lives.

How we can support your business with Financial Wellbeing:

We offer our Financial Wellness Workshops to everyone in the community regardless of the industry you work in. We are here to support your employees throughout their financial education journey by providing our Financial Welfare Services.

Our workshops are bespoke, they’re relatable and presented in a way that everyone can understand. We want your staff to leave feeling empowered, confident, and knowledgeable in the areas that are important to them.

Let’s see how we can help you with our 4 step process:

Step 1: Financial Wellness Workshops

We will work with your business in creating bespoke Financial Wellness Workshops which are tailored to the business and employees. Our workshops will cover a range of important financial topics from saving, retirement planning, getting on the property ladder and more. Within our workshops we also educate employees on the company’s employee benefits package.

Everyone within the organisation is invited to attend a no obligation Financial Wellness Workshop where employees are educated on financial matters. Our workshops can be provided either face to face or online.

Step 2: Guidance Appointments

We provide 121 no obligation guidance appointments, providing a safe space for someone who has attended one of our Financial Wellness Workshops to discuss their personal financial situation.

Step 3: Bespoke Financial Advice

Following on from a 121 no obligation guidance appointment, the individual may wish to seek bespoke financial advice with one of our advisers to discuss implementing a plan to improve their financial future.

Step 4: Ongoing Support

Our Financial Wellness Workshops are an investment into the business and are an added employee benefit. We are here to stay and will continue to the support the business and it’s employees on an ongoing basis.

Topics we cover in Financial Wellness Workshops:

Our Financial Wellness Workshops are there to get employees engaged throughout the session and to get them thinking about their personal circumstances and financial goals.

  • Budgeting
  • Saving and Investment Planning
  • Financial Goal Setting
  • Planning for Retirement
  • Understanding Employee Benefits
